DENVER (AP) — Denver Nuggets guard Ty Lawson strained his left Achilles in the first half Saturday night against the Charlotte Bobcats.

The team said that Lawson was being held out the rest of game because of precautionary reasons.

Lawson had five assists and a rebound and was scoreless on 0-for-5 shooting.
