While visiting the Dairy Barn in New Hampshire, President Obama purchased some ice cream for voters in New Hampshire.
“This is legal. I could not do this in front of a polling place,” said Obama about his ice cream purchase. “But I can do it here.”
After purchasing a hot fudge sundae, a woman commented on his thin waistline, according to a Boston Globe reporter on Twitter.
“I only have these once in a while,” Obama said. “It’s not a regular practice to have a hot fudge sundae.”
The AP’s Ken Thomas reported that the President suggested they get “a split” for Press Secretary Jay Carney. “Let’s get Carney a split,” the President said. “Have you guys ever seen Carney eat? It’s unbelievable.”
