Obama calls for preschool for every child in America

During the State of the Union address this evening, President Obama announced that he wanted every child in America to attend pre-school.

Citing studies showing that children do better in life when enrolled in pre-school, Obama noted that many families of poor children couldn’t afford pre-school.

“Tonight, I propose working with states to make high-quality preschool available to every child in America,” he asserted.
