According to a statement from the White House, President Obama has canceled his campaign events in Ohio scheduled for Wednesday.

Obama will remain in Washington, DC on Wednesday to monitor the response to Hurricane Sandy.

Mitt Romney announced earlier this morning that his campaign rally scheduled for today has been turned into a benefit rally for storm victims.

The event will be held with Richard Petty and Randy Owen in Kettering, Ohio.
