President Obama is announcing a new series of executive actions on climate change today, this time focusing on the environmental measures to help state, local and tribal governments. The measures include $236.3 million for rural electrification, $13.1 million to help communities create three-dimensional maps, and $10 million to help American Indian tribes. Also on the agenda: meetings with Vice President Biden and members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus to talk about immigration — specifically, Obama's proposal for nearly $2 billion in supplemental funding to address the situation at the southwest border.
