It's France Day at the White House. President Obama formally welcomes French President Francois Hollande to the White House on Monday morning, starting a day that includes a string of meetings capped by a state dinner tonight. The American and French presidents conduct a joint news at mid-day. The state dinner will settle a long-standing question: Who will sit next to Hollande? Obama and Hollande informally opened the state visit Monday with a trip to Thomas Jefferson's home at Monticello, Virginia.
