During his press conference today, President Obama suggested that he was pleased with the Federal Government's response to the victims of Hurricane Sandy.

"I do know that the Federal Government can make a difference," he said, noting that the response has "not been perfect."

"It's been aggressive and strong and fast and robust and a lot of people have been helped because of it," Obama added. "That's a pretty good metaphor for how I want federal government to operate generally, and I'm going to do everything I can to make sure it does."
