In an interview with Diane Sawyer last night, President Obama admitted that he “had a bad night” during his first presidential debate.

“Well, Governor Romney had a good night, I had a bad night.” Obama said flatly in response to a question about the debate. “It’s not the first time I’ve had a bad night.”

“You know one thing that you – maybe this is because I’ve played a lot of sports when I was a kid, and still do.” Obama explained “If you have a bad game you just move on, you look forward to the next one and it makes you that much more determined.”
