The White House is touting the diversity of President Obama's judicial nominees. A new graphic on the White House website says that, of Obama's confirmed judicial nominees, 42% are women, 19% are African-American, and 12% are Hispanics -- all higher rates than those of presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush. "This is the first time our judicial pool has been this diverse," says the graphic. One nominee, Florida state judge Darrin Gayles, would the first openly gay African-American to serve on the bench, if confirmed by the Senate.
