DENVER (AP) — Mitt Romney is campaigning in Colorado near the first presidential debate, and President Barack Obama will do the same. Obama's event is just after the debate instead of before.

The Obama campaign announced Thursday that the president will headline a campaign event Thursday in the Denver area. The campaign didn't give more specifics but said Obama would head to Cleveland after the Denver-area event for more campaigning.

The Republican presidential candidate has a Monday evening rally scheduled at Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum in Denver.

Romney and Obama meet in the first presidential debate at the University of Denver on Wednesday.
