Google announced Thursday that President Obama would participate in online “hangouts” with Internet users across the country after delivering his State of the Union address next week.

On Friday, Jan. 31, the president will “hop into Google+ hangouts with people from across the United States to answer their questions and hear their thoughts about the topics he addressed in his speech,” the tech giant said.

Typically, Obama physically travels outside Washington in the days following his address to Congress. The White House has yet to announce any itineraries for next week though.

To submit a question for the president, Google says to record a 60-second video with your name, location, some personal information and the query. Videos can be posted on YouTube or Google+ and shared publicly with the hashtag #AskObama2014.
