Obama’s bracket officially dead

Another year. Another busted bracket for President Obama.

With Indiana’s loss to Syracuse Thursday in Washington, Obama is sure to lose any pool he entered this year.

The president had the Hoosiers going all the way. The lone silver lining for Obama: His other Final Four picks are still in the tournament.

The president picked Louisville, Ohio State and Florida to join Indiana at the national semifinals in Atlanta.

Obama had already declared his bracket “busted,” but that was even before Indiana’s lackluster performance.

According to ESPN, Obama’s bracket now ranks 2,755,808 among all the entries this year.

And last year wasn’t much better for the president. He chose North Carolina to win the national title in a year when the consensus No. 1 team, Kentucky, dominated the rest of the field.
