It's one thing to blue-collar up his image by drinking Bud Lites at campaign stops, but now President Obama is down-scaling the image of his regular folk fundraising dinners so much that he's calling the food 'grub.'
And expensive grub it is: The campaign said that the value of passing through Obama's chow line is valued at $4,800.
Here's how Obama's last dinner offer opens: "You, President Obama, a table, chairs, and some grub. Want to give it a shot?"
Then they add: "Pretty awesome."
Here's the deal:
You, President Obama, a table, chairs, and some grub.
Want to give it a shot?
Donate $5 or whatever you can, and you'll be automatically entered for the chance to join the President for dinner: https://donate.barackobama.com/Dinner
It'll be pretty awesome -- we'll even fly you (and a friend) out for the big night.
Obama for America
P.S. -- This is the last Dinner with Barack of the campaign. You've stood with the President when it counted. Don't you want to sit down for a meal with him? Don't miss out.
