The couple who died in Tuesday's murder-suicide in Arlington has been identified.
Juan Carlos Mox Mox killed his wife, Xiomara Aracely Benitez, before killing himself, according to Arlington police officials. The couple, both 30 and of Arlington, had two children.
About 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, officials received a 911 call after a family member found the couple in a back bedroom of a residence in the Park Shirlington apartments in the 4500 block of South 31st Street.
The husband and wife were pronounced dead at the scene. Police spokesman Dustin Sternbeck would not say exactly how the couple died.
The incident was Arlington's first homicide since March 2010.
