The woman who died after she ran inside her burning Greenbelt home to warn others has been identified as 86-year-old Betty M. Starry, Prince George's County fire officials said.

Shortly before 9 p.m. Friday, firefighters were called to a burning row house on Laurel Hill Road. It took firefighters about 15 minutes to knock down the fire; they found Starry's body inside the home.

Another woman and a man who had escaped the home suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
