Ralph Hall is the oldest man in Congress. Two days after the 91-year-old lawmaker lost his bid for re-election, Hall still has a sense of humor. Hall told reporters Thursday, according to The Wall Street Journal, “I didn’t get beat because I was too old, if that had happened, I’d have gotten beat 10 or 15 years ago." John Ratcliffe, a 48-year-old former U.S. attorney, defeated Hall on Tuesday night in a GOP runoff.
