Three new astronauts arrived at the International Space Station, carrying the torch that will light the Olympic flame. At 7:44 Eastern Time this morning, the hatches opened on the International Space Station to welcome three new crewmembers: Russian cosmonaut Mikhail Tyurin, Japanese astronaut Koichi Wakata, and NASA astronaut Rick Mastracchio. However, this does mark the first time that an Olympic torch has been to the International Space Station.
