President Obama appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" to promote Obamacare, specifically asking mothers to reach out to their kids and tell them to sign up for Obamacare.

Obama said it was a good way for moms to have "mental security," knowing that their child over 26 years of age had health insurance.

"Moms out there, email your kids if they don't have health insurance and tell them to at least check it out, because they may be pleasantly surprised that it's much more affordable than people thought."

DeGeneres praised the program during the interview, reminding the audience that Obamacare was "doing very, very well" even though it had a "rough start."

Obama warned the audience that if people didn't sign up by March 31, they would be forced to wait until November to get coverage.

"People will be pleasantly surprised," Obama said, pointing out that he has received letters from people who like the program.
