The cute British quintet One Direction has been named MTV's Artist of the Year. Staffers at the network voted, saying the group's two No. 1 albums and sold out tour was enough to vault them to the top of the list. The staffers chose Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" as the song of the year.
