ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — The Oneida Indian Nation says a multimedia presentation has been added to its display at the National Museum of the American Indian in Washington.

Oneida Nation Representative Ray Halbritter made the announcement last week while giving the museum $1 million, the eighth installment of $10 million the tribe has committed to the institution.

The display "Allies in War, Partners in Peace" features a bronze statue of Oneida Chief Skenandoah with Polly Cooper, an Oneida woman, and George Washington. The design is meant to mark the close relationship between the two nations.

The new 8-minute multimedia show includes stories about the Oneidas' role in U.S. history.
