Alex Ovechkin approves of new Russian restaurant

The lockout is over and hockey is back -- which means Alex Ovechkin has returned. And it took no time at all for the Capitals captain to try the new Russian restaurant, Mari Vanna in Dupont Circle. Ovechkin stopped by the eatery Tuesday night and autographed one of the walls. He then tweeted a picture of himself standing outside. Afterward, Ovechkin took in the Georgetown basketball game, in which the Hoyas were creamed by the Pitt Panthers 73-45 at the Verizon Center.
