Australian authorities said the search in the southern Indian Ocean for the missing Malaysia Airlines jet was slated to resume early Wednesday now that weather conditions have improved. The search area will cover a cumulative 30,000 square miles southwest of Perth, Australia. A total of 12 aircraft — five civil aircraft and seven military aircraft — were ready to resume the grueling search operation.
