Describing the Lok Sabha's passage of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Bill as unconstitutional, senior Communist Party of India-Marxist leader Sitaram Yechury alleged Tuesday that there was match fixing between the government and the Bharatiya Janata Party. The bill created the new state of Telangana, and according to Yechury, "The way this Bill passed was unconstitutional. It seems like the match was fixed. The Parliamentary process and democratic structure was abandoned by the Congress and BJP parties."
