RENO, Nev. (AP) — Republican vice presidential running mate Paul Ryan is planning a return trip Monday to northern Nevada — the first stop on a cross-country marathon to mobilize GOP enthusiasm on the eve of the election.

The Wisconsin congressman was in Reno on Thursday and urged more than 500 supporters to vote early and back Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney at the polls.

Ryan is scheduled to speak around 9:30 a.m. Monday at a rally at Atlantic Aviation on the east side of Reno-Tahoe International Airport.

Washoe County is pivotal in Tuesday's election and could decide whether President Obama wins a second term or if Romney, the former Massachusetts governor, replaces him in the White House.

From Reno, Ryan will travel to campaign stops in Colorado, Iowa, Ohio and Wisconsin.
