GILLETTE, Wyo. (AP) — The production team for a new feature by Oscar-winning director Alexander Payne is shooting some footage in Wyoming.

The Wyoming Film Office says the team for the movie "Nebraska" filmed earlier this week from the Montana border down to The Lake Stop resort north of Buffalo, and more is scheduled to be shot Thursday from Gillette to the South Dakota border.

Payne's most recent Oscar was for directing "The Descendants."

"Nebraska" tells the tale of a father-and-son road trip from Montana to Nebraska.
