'Persons of interest' sought in Capitol Hill East shooting

District of Columbia police have released a video tape in connection with a near Capitol Hill East shooting, and are asking the public for information to help identify four persons of interest.

The shooting happened about 3:15 p.m. Wednesday in the in the 1000 block of 14th Street SE, and left one adult male in critical condition. Four men were seen entering the Eastern Market Metro Station and were captured on a surveillance video.

D.C. police are offering a reward of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides information leading to a conviction.

Anyone with information can call police at (202) 727-9099. Anonymous information may be submitted to the department's text tip line by test messaging 50411.
