President Obama hosted a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT) Pride event at the White House last week, and the activists made sure to indicate how much they dislike former President Reagan compared to the current occupant.

“[T]he murderous facial expression and double-barreled bird-flipping seem to speak for themselves,” The Philadelphia Post noted while observing the photo of Zoe Strauss, an artist from Philadelphia, flipping off the former president. The photo provoked positive feedback, generally, although one commenter said that “Haters of haters…..become….I don’t think he was and I hope you aren’t.”

According to the Post, Matthew Hart — director of public engagement at Solutions for Progress — also posted a photo of himself making the gesture at the Reagan portrait. The Post’s site is down now, but has more on the story. You can see the Strauss photo above.
