It appears that America is in for another long night of Election Day results pouring in to declare a presidential winner in what is a tight race.

The latest Zogby Poll said that President Trump is tied with Democrat Joe Biden at 46% each. Some 8% remain unsure of who to vote for.

“We might be in for a long night come Election Day in November,” said pollster Jonathan Zogby of Zogby Analytics.

Election polls have so far been all over the map with some giving Biden a big advantage. Zogby’s surveys have shown the race to be closer, and he has Trump at a 48% approval rating in his survey of 1,007 likely voters. While many pollsters overweigh Democrats, Zogby keeps them even with Republicans at 36% and independents at 28%.

The Zogby Poll found that the race is a regional one. Trump leads in the South 50%-46%, while Biden leads in the East, West. They are tied in the Central/Great Lakes region.

“Once again, the race will be won in states like Michigan, Wisconsin and Ohio,” said his analysis.

Age is an “important” factor. Younger voters side with Biden, though their turnout has been an issue in past elections. Trump does well with middle-age voters, and Biden holds a 48%-46% lead among those over 65.

Zogby noted that other polls have Biden winning easily, but he noted that polls said the same thing about Hillary Clinton in 2016.

He concluded:

“Biden is winning over swing voters. Right now he is experiencing a resurgence not seen since the ‘comeback kid’ Bill Clinton in 1992. While most polls have him blowing out Trump, like 2016 when Hillary was ahead by double digits in almost every poll, we have it neck and neck. Does he have a big enough coalition to defeat Trump? It all depends if the anger in the streets translates into more younger voters for Biden. Trump’s job approval among Millennials is alright and he polls very well with voters aged 30-49, so it’s not a slam dunk for Biden just yet.”
