ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) — Police in Rochester are investigating separate shootings that occurred within four hours of each other and left three people recovering from gunshot wounds.
Officers tell local media that the first shooting occurred around 10 p.m. Tuesday when a 23-year-old man was shot multiple times in the lower body. He's being treated at Strong Memorial Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
The second shooting occurred around 2 a.m. Wednesday on the city's north side. Police say someone approached a minivan and opened fire, wounding a 25-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man.
They were taken to Rochester General Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
No arrests have been made.
