Montgomery County police are investigating an incident in which a man allegedly punched his adult sister and she allegedly stabbed him in defense.
Shortly after 8 a.m. Monday, police received a call about an incident in the 17000 block of King James Way in Gaithersburg. The person who placed the called reported hearing arguing and then seeing a man leaving an apartment complex with blood on him, Montgomery County police spokeswoman Lucille Baur said.
According to preliminary information, the brother punched his sister at an apartment, and then she stabbed her brother to defend herself, Baur said.
The siblings both left the apartment but were located by police. Authorities found the brother near a bus stop, and he was taken to a hospital for a non-life threatening injury, Baur said. The sister declined treatment.
