PIKESVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Baltimore County police say they consider the 31-year-old grandson of a couple found slain in their Pikesville home to be a suspect in their killings.

Police say Matthew Long, the grandson of Vaughn and Marjorie Pepper, who lived with the couple, is in a hospital in Oklahoma.

Detectives have gone to Oklahoma but have not been able to interview Long because of an unspecified medical condition.

The Peppers were found dead in their home on Monday. Police say the couple suffered traumatic injuries and a weapon was recovered, though police aren't saying what it was.
