The FBI and D.C. police are looking for a man who robbed a Wells Fargo bank in Northeast D.C. on Thursday.

The suspect, a black male, walked into a Wells Fargo Bank branch at 2119 Bladensburg Road NE shortly before 9:30 a.m., according to Jacqueline Maguire, a spokeswoman for the FBI's Washington field office.

The man approached a teller and passed along a note implying he had a gun and demanding money. The teller gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash before the robber left the bank carrying a bag, according to Maguire.

Authorities don't know how he made his escape after exiting the bank, she said.

The robber never displayed a weapon, and no one was injured, according to Maguire.

The man was last seen wearing a red baseball cap and a gray sweatshirt, and has long black hair. He was also wearing a red-and-blue line sticker on his right cheek.
