Prince William County police are seeking information about an armed robbery at a 7-Eleven.

About 11:45 p.m. Thursday, a man entered the convenience store at 16806 Jefferson Davis Highway in Dumfries. The man, armed with a shotgun, went up to the counter and demanded money. He took an undisclosed amount of cash and left the area, possibly in a dark-colored vehicle, police said.

The robber is described as a black male, 25 to 30 years old, 6-foot-3 and 180 pounds, with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored jacket, dark-colored pants, black shoes and a blue bandana covering his face.

Anyone with information can call 703-670-3700 or 866-411-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous and could receive a cash reward of up to $1,000.
