On Nov. 1, 2011, Prince George's County police went to the 3300 block of Walters Lane and found Washington and a woman in a shopping center parking lot, suffering from gunshot wounds.

Washington, of Forestville, was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman, then 33, was taken to a hospital with what police said was a non-life-threatening injury.
