Police seek man in Georgetown sexual assault

D.C. police are searching for a person of interest in a sexual assault that occurred in Georgetown.

A woman was sexually assaulted at about 10:30 p.m. June 30 on the 2400 block of M Street NW, police said. They did not provide any addition details about the incident.

Police said the person of interest in connection with the assault is a black male, about 40 years old, with a medium complexion. He is bald, stands 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds, police said. When last seen, he was wearing a brown T-shirt that read "Fight Club," tan shorts and sandals, police said. He may go by the name "Jason."
