Police seek to smoke out cigarette thieves

Prince George's County police are seeking information in the theft of boxes of cigarettes from a Bowie convenience store, and they are asking for the public's assistance.

About 11 p.m. on Aug. 6, the robbers walked into the Wawa Service Station at 163 Crain Highway and stole more than $500 in cigarettes. The robbers fled in a white conversion van.

A reward of $1,000 is being offered.
