Tattooed homicide victim identified by police

A woman found dead at a park in Prince George's County has been identified.

The victim is 22-year-old Ingrid Lizet Martinez-Alvarez, police said.

Martinez-Alvarez was found deceased Wednesday morning at a park located at 11540 Montgomery Road in Beltsville. Authorities said she is the victim of a homicide.

Authorities released a description of Martinez-Alvarez and photos of her tattoos in an effort to identify her. Media reports alerted people to provide tips to police, which helped identify Martinez-Alvarez, police said.
