SAN ANTONIO (AP) — A South Texas hospital nurse has been charged with indecent exposure after police say he exposed himself to a 63-year-old cancer patient.
San Antonio police say 49-year-old Richard Pacheco prior to the alleged incident told the woman he served in Iraq and suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder.
Bexar (bayr) County jail records show Pacheco was freed on $10,000 bond Tuesday. Online jail records don't list an attorney for Pacheco, who was arrested Monday after the hospital reported the woman's allegations.
She says the incident happened Friday at Mission Trails Baptist Hospital in San Antonio. Court documents say Pacheco took the woman to a private room, inserted a catheter into her and then exposed himself.
The hospital has since fired Pacheco, who worked at the facility for two years.
