MARRIOTTSVILLE, Md. (AP) — Police in Howard County say they will reveal more about a man who in January shot and killed two employees of a skate shop at a mall in Maryland.
Police plan to hold a press conference Wednesday to detail shooter Darion Marcus Aguilar's activities in the months prior to the Jan. 25 shooting at the Columbia Mall.
That's when the 19-year-old Aguilar entered the Zumiez store on the upper level of the mall and fatally shot two employees, 21-year-old Brianna Benlolo and 25-year-old Tyler Johnson, before turning his shotgun on himself.
Aguilar was a skateboarding enthusiast who had no criminal record before the shooting.
