Americans have a more favorable (or less unfavorable) view of the Republican-controlled House of Representatives than they do of the Democratic-controlled U.S. Senate, according to a new poll.

“[J]ust 12 percent of Likely U.S. Voters think the U.S. Senate is doing a good or excellent job,” per a new Rasmussen survey. “Nineteen percent (19%) of voters believe the House is doing a good or excellent job.”

Similarly, “fifty-three percent rate the Senate’s performance as poor” compared to 51 percent who say the same about the House.
