The public is not happy with the House GOP leadership's passage of a “clean” debt ceiling increase, preferring it to include big spending cuts just as the Republicans had promised before switching gears. What's more, a new Rasmussen Reports poll finds the public supportive of even bigger and more sweeping spending cuts than they did when the GOP shut down the government last year.
