< p>UNIVERSITY PARK, Texas (AP) — The Meadows Museum at Southern Methodist University is extending its partnership with Spain's Prado Museum by two years.

Meadows officials announced the extension in a statement issued Wednesday.

In 2009, the Meadows launched a three-year partnership with the Madrid museum that included the loan of three major paintings from the Prado's collections.

El Greco's "Pentecost" and Jusepe de Ribera's "Mary Magdalene" have already come to the Meadows. A fall exhibit at the Meadows called "Diego Velazquez: The Early Court Portraits" will feature a portrait of Philip IV from the Prado.

The collaboration also includes an internship exchange and public programs.

With the extension, the museums will organize two more exhibitions for both Madrid and Dallas, one of Martin Rico Ortega's work and another of Spanish drawings from Hamburg, Germany's Kunsthalle.
