NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Nashville Predators are sending forward Matt Halischuk to their AHL affiliate in Milwaukee to get some playing time.

General manager David Poile announced the conditioning assignment Thursday.

Halischuk, 24, has just one assist and six penalty minutes in 16 games with the Predators this season. The Predators added Bobby Butler and Zach Boychuk off waivers earlier this week. Halischuk last played with the Milwaukee Admirals during the 2010-11 season when he had 23 points in 37 games.
