ATHENS, Ohio (AP) — President Barack Obama's campaign says he will campaign in Athens, Ohio, next Wednesday.

The Democrat's campaign didn't immediately release any other details of the trip to the home of Ohio University. He is also scheduled to campaign in Iowa on the same day.

First lady Michelle Obama will be in the central Ohio city of Delaware and in Cleveland on Monday.

The Obama campaign visits will come after a week in which Republican Mitt Romney and running mate Paul Ryan have been crisscrossing Ohio.

The pair was scheduled to be in Lancaster on Friday evening while Romney has campaign stops Saturday in Portsmouth and Lebanon, with Ryan in Youngstown.
