President of Senegal to speak on Africa at Harvard

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) — The president of Senegal will speak about Africa, innovation in the continent and leadership during a public lecture at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy Jr. Forum.

President Macky Sall is scheduled to speak Friday afternoon at the forum at the Institute of Politics.

Kennedy School Dean David Ellwood will be the moderator.

Senegal, a country in West Africa, has a population of about 12.5 million.

The John F. Kennedy Jr. forum is Harvard's premier arena for political speech, discussion and debate. It regularly hosts heads of state, leaders in politics, business, labor, government and the media.
