Prince George's County man arrested for attempted murder of delivery man

A 20-year-old Glenarden man who was wanted for the attempted murder of a food-delivery man has been arrested.

Wayne Hunter Jr. robbed and shot a man who attempted to make a food delivery in the 8400 block of Hamlin Street in Glenarden on Jan. 13, according to Prince George's County police.

On Saturday, Hunter turned himself into authorities. After he was arrested, he became combative and assaulted a detective, police said.

Hunter is charged with attempted murder and armed robbery for the attack on the delivery man, and he also faces charges in connection with the assault on the officer, police said. He is being held without bond.
