A 22-year-old man has been arrested in North Carolina on a warrant on charges of sexual solicitation of a child in Laurel.

Prince George's County police said they were called to a residence in the 8700 block of Oxwell Lane in Laurel by a man who said his underage son had been solicited for sexual acts between July and December 2012.

Police obtained an arrest warrant for Rashon Levante Dickason, formerly of the 12000 block of Mount Pleasant Drive, in Laurel.

Dickason, who is stationed at the Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune in North Carolina, was arrested Jan. 30. He remains at Camp Lejeune and is awaiting extradition.

When contacted, Pentagon officials could not immediately determine whether Dickason was serving in the Marines.

Anyone who has information about Dickason is asked to call Prince George's police detectives at 301-937-0910. - Scott McCabe
