A Riverdale man was charged with murder for allegedly killing his roommate on Aug. 8 inside their home.

Prince George's County police arrested Kobina Ebo Abruquah, 40, on Friday, police announced. He is charged with first-degree murder.

Police on Wednesday found Abruquah's roommate, 40-year-old Ivan Alvaro Aguirre-Herrera, shot to death in his home on the 6200 block of Kenilworth Avenue.

Police did not say what caused Abruquah to allegedly shoot his roommate.
