Prince William County police are seeking information about a bank robbery that occurred in Woodbridge.
The incident took place at about 10 a.m. Saturday atBurke & Herbert Bank at14008 Smoketown Road.
Bank employees told police that a man entered the bank, approached the counter and passed a teller a note demanding money. The robber took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene, police said.
Employees did not see the robber display a weapon, and no one reported being injured during the incident, police said.
The robber is described as a man in his mid 20s, 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 160 to 170 pounds. He has a teardrop tattoo near his left eye. He was last seen wearinga blue hooded sweatshirt, a white turtleneck shirt and jeans.
The man may have fled the scene in ablack, two-door sports car similar to a Toyota Celica.
