Dozens of protesters damaged property overnight in the Gallery Place area, police said.

Around midnight Monday, 50 to 60 protestors smashed a DVA Federal Credit Union ATM at 800 K Street NW, smashed a window and splattered paint on a side window at a bank at 901 7th Street NW and smashed a window at the Hooters at 825 7th Street NW, D.C. police spokesman Officer Araz Alali said.

At one of the sites, the protesters left anti-goverment pamphlets. WJLA reported that the pamphlets said, "Against Every Cop. Against Every Boss. Against Every President."

Police were monitoring the area Monday morning and are gathering surveillance images of the protesters, who dispersed after they destroyed the property, Alali said.
